The element of 'player development' and training for something beyond college tennis is in jeapardy. No-Ad scoring and reduced matches and training time make the concept of getting better and going on to play at a higher level one that is quite suspect. coach kriese and guest speak of the recent dumb-down in the training aspect of collegiate athletics as the ITA has promoted 'Entertainment over Education' and college tennis is in danger of becoming an 'After school activity' instead of a great collegiate sport that it once was.
