He is the head coach at Coker College in South Carolina. Coach Simpson gives very astute observations about the lay-of-the-land in college tennis and especially Division II tennis. He gives insights about the advantages and disadvantages of going to smaller schools vs. larger schools. He talks to the strengths of what college tennis can be and feels that it is an arena that will settle quite soon.
